The ruins of the original castle built in the 15th Century are located to the front and add to the romance and and magic of this idyllic place. The atmosphere of peace and tranquillity are broken only by the sound of bird song or the occasional braying of the resident donkeys.

The cottage wing consists of two double bedrooms with views across the lake and walled garden. 

There is a large sitting room with a vaulted beamed ceiling and wood burning stove. A lobby leads to the magnificent  fully equipped country kitchen with open fireplace.  

There is a 'half door' leading from the kitchen to the outside to a 'private' traditional Irish pub and other courtyard buildings. All rooms are exquisitely furnished to the highest standards. If you want a totally private, peaceful getaway retreat, this is the property for you.

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 4 people.
